Instructions for use:
Welding Zip Tape should be used where weld current is less than 80 & 160 amp.
Welding Zip Tape can be used to weld different types of stainless steel & carbon steel.
Welding Zip Tape can be used in T.I.G. welding processes.
Cut the length of tape as per the weld length, plus 100mm for error.
Clean the joint surface with acceptable solvent where Zip tape is to be applied. Ensure that surface is completely free from dust, dirt or scale.
Remove the silicon paper from the sticky side of Aluminium to expose a length of about 75 mm.
Paste the sticky surface to the metal in such a way that the tape covers the joint (to be welded) evenly.
Continue tot peel back the silicone paper and paste the Zip tape over the entire weld length.
Cut off tape with sharp scissors.
